Hydro-spoil Heap
A hydraulic tailings dam is a special embankment formed during the deposition of overburden rocks from mineral deposits, designed to receive pulp, accumulate soil, clarify and store used water for reuse in the closed-loop water supply system. A hydraulic tailings dam consists of three zones with different granulometric composition of the deposited soil: the supporting prism zone, the intermediate zone, and the central zone.
