Phencyclidine
Phencyclidine (PCP, Angel Dust, Peace Pill, Hog, Supergrass, Killer Weed, Rocket Fuel, Embalming Fluid, Sherms, Magic Wack, Sunshine, Cool, Chrystals). It appears in the form of powders of various colors, liquids, tablets, and capsules. In its base form, it can be applied to paper substrates as well as tobacco, mint, parsley, and marijuana. It was developed in 1954 for use as an anesthetic. It is taken orally, intravenously, possibly by inhalation, but more commonly by smoking. When phencyclidine is used, states of euphoria, ringing, floating sensations, and a feeling of calm solitude are observed. Auditory and visual hallucinations, distorted perception of space and time, illusions, and disordered thoughts may appear. The symptoms arising from use depend on the dose and include reduced reaction to pain, muscle tension, convulsions, and excessive sweating. The duration of action of the drug is 4 - 6 hours, although the disappearance of residual effects may last several days. Single dose - 5 mg
