1. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation is the highest judicial body for resolving economic disputes and other cases considered by arbitration courts.

2. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation is a superior judicial instance in relation to federal arbitration courts of districts, arbitration appellate courts, arbitration courts of subjects of the Russian Federation, and specialized arbitration courts.

3. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation carries out judicial supervision over the activities of arbitration courts in procedural forms provided for by federal law.

4. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation considers cases as a court of first instance, in accordance with federal law, in the order of supervision and on newly arisen circumstances.

5. The Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation provides explanations on issues of judicial practice
