Chairperson of the Arbitration Appellate Court
1. The chairman of the arbitrazh appellate court is a judge and exercises procedural powers provided by the Arbitration Procedure Code of the Russian Federation.
2. The chairman of the arbitrazh appellate court:
1) organizes the activities of the arbitrazh appellate court;
2) distributes duties among deputies of the chairman of the arbitrazh appellate court;
3) forms judicial panels from among judges of the arbitrazh appellate court;
4) convenes the presidium of the arbitrazh appellate court and chairs its sessions, as well as submits to consideration by the presidium issues assigned by this Federal Constitutional Law to the jurisdiction of the presidium;
5) exercises general management over the staff of the arbitrazh appellate court, appoints and removes employees from their positions;
6) represents the arbitrazh appellate court in relations with governmental, public and other bodies;
7) performs other powers established by this Federal Constitutional Law.
