Conferences of Judges of the Subjects of the Russian Federation
1. Conferences of judges of the subjects of the Russian Federation (hereinafter also referred to as conferences of judges) represent judges of the supreme courts of republics, territorial courts of regions and areas, courts of cities of federal significance, courts of autonomous areas and autonomous okrugs, arbitration courts of the subjects of the Russian Federation, constitutional (charter) courts of the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as district judges, judges of district courts and military court judges serving on the territories of the corresponding subjects of the Russian Federation.
Conferences of judges are empowered to adopt decisions on all issues relating to the activities of the judicial community within the subjects of the Russian Federation, except for matters falling under the jurisdiction of judicial qualification committees and examination commissions, and are also empowered to approve acts regulating the activities of the bodies of the judicial community within the subjects of the Russian Federation. Decisions of conferences of judges are adopted by a simple majority vote, unless otherwise provided by the conferences.
