Conductor galloping - stable periodic low-frequency (0.2 - 2 Hz) oscillations of a conductor (rope) in a span caused by wind speeds of 3 - 25 m/s, resulting from one-sided or asymmetric ice accretion (wet snow, rime ice, mixtures), forming standing waves (sometimes combined with traveling waves) with the number of half-waves ranging from one to twenty and amplitude of 0.3 - 5 m
