Meteorology

Meteorology: the science of the atmosphere - its structure, properties and physical processes occurring within it, one of the geophysical sciences (the term "atmospheric sciences" is also used).

Note - The main disciplines of meteorology are dynamic, physical, synoptic meteorology and climatology. As a profession, meteorology includes weather analysis and forecasting, climate monitoring and prediction. In addition to physics, chemistry and atmospheric dynamics, meteorology studies the influence of the atmosphere on the Earth's surface, oceans and life in general. There are several applied meteorological disciplines, such as aviation meteorology, medical meteorology, etc., which are grouped under the general term applied meteorology.
