Statistical significance of the result (p-value)

The statistical significance of the result (p-level) - an estimated measure of confidence in the "truth" of the result represents the probability of error associated with generalizing the observed result to the entire population. For example, a p-level = 0.05 (i.e., 1/20) shows that there is a 5% chance that the relationship found between variables in the sample is merely a random feature of that particular sample. p = 0.05 is considered as an "acceptable boundary" for the error level. The significance level value should be presented with accuracy up to three decimal places (as = 0.000..., and not < 0.05)
