6.1. #pollutant#: Any agent of natural or anthropogenic origin (primarily a physical agent, chemical substance, or biological species - mainly microorganisms) entering the environment or arising within it in quantities exceeding normal natural fluctuation limits or long-term average natural background levels, and negatively affecting the quality of the surrounding natural environment and human health
