Measurement Error


115) measurement error - a characteristic defining the range around the measured value in which the true value of the measured variable lies with a confidence level of 95%. The error includes uncompensated systematic error, uncompensated play, and random error (source: ISO 10360-2 or VDI/VDE 2617) (category 2);
