Main Directions of State Monetary and Credit Policy
The main directions of the unified state monetary and credit policy for the coming year include the following points:
conceptual principles underlying the monetary and credit policy implemented by the Bank of Russia;
a brief description of the state of the Russian Federation's economy;
a forecast of the expected achievement of the main parameters of monetary and credit policy in the current year;
quantitative analysis of the reasons for deviation from the goals of monetary and credit policy set by the Bank of Russia for the current year, an assessment of the prospects for achieving these goals and a justification for their possible adjustment;
scenario-based (comprising at least two options) forecast of the development of the Russian Federation's economy for the coming year with indication of oil prices and other goods of Russian export expected under each scenario;
forecast of the main indicators of the balance of payments of the Russian Federation for the coming year;
target indicators characterizing the main objectives of monetary policy, declared by the Bank of Russia for the coming year, including interval inflation indicators, money base, money supply, interest rates, changes in gold and foreign exchange reserves;
main indicators of the monetary program for the coming year;
options for applying instruments and methods of monetary policy ensuring achievement of target indicators under various economic scenarios;
the Bank of Russia's plan of activities for the coming year on improving the banking system of the Russian Federation, banking supervision, financial markets and payment systems
