1. The cost of an insurance year - the amount of money that should be received on behalf of the insured person under mandatory social insurance into the budget of the corresponding state extrabudgetary fund during one financial year in order to provide this person with mandatory insurance benefits in the amount determined by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
2. The cost of the insurance year is determined as the product of the minimum wage established by federal law at the beginning of the financial year for which insurance contributions are paid, and the insurance contribution rate to the relevant state extra-budgetary fund established by paragraph 2 of article 12 of this Federal Law, increased twelvefold
