Petroleum bitumen


Petroleum bitumen (also known as petroleum pitch, refined pitch, petroleum asphalt) is typically obtained as a residue from the distillation of crude oil. It has a brown or black color and may be soft or brittle. It is used for road pavements, waterproofing, etc. Petroleum bitumen that has been slightly modified by air blowing is similar to bitumen obtained without air blowing and is included in this commodity item
