Runway equipped


12) equipped runway - one of the following types of runways intended for aircraft performing instrument approaches:

a) runway equipped for non-precision approach - a runway equipped with visual aids and any type of non-visual aids providing at least guidance of the aircraft along the approach path from the straight-in;

b) runway equipped for precision approach category I - a runway equipped with an ILS <1> and/or MLS <2> system and visual aids intended for approaches with decision height not less than 60 m (200 ft) and either visibility of not less than 800 m, or runway visibility distance of not less than 550 m;

c) Runway equipped for precision approach category II - runway equipped with ILS system and/or MLS system and visual aids intended for approach with decision height less than 60 m (200 ft), but not less than 30 m (100 ft), and with visibility on the runway of at least 350 m;

c) Runway equipped for precision approach and landing under category III - a runway equipped with an ILS and/or MLS system, operational along the entire length of the runway and intended for:

A - approach and landing with a decision height less than 30 m (100 ft) or without limitation on decision height and with visibility on the runway not less than 200 m;

B - approach and landing with a decision height less than 15 m (50 ft) or without limitation on decision height and with visibility on the runway less than 200 m, but not less than 50 m;

C - approach and landing without limitations on decision height and runway visibility;
