The surrender value in insurance
7. Upon termination of a life insurance contract providing for the insured person's survival until a certain age or period or the occurrence of another event, the insurer returns an amount within the limits of the insurance reserve formed in accordance with established procedures as of the date of termination of the insurance contract (surrender value)
