Tug
A. Tugs. These vessels are primarily designed for towing other vessels. They may be marine or inland waterway tugs. They differ from other vessels by special hull forms and reinforced hulls, engines disproportionately powerful in relation to the size of the vessel, and various deck equipment intended for accommodating tow ropes, cables, etc.
