Proven reserves of oil and combustible gases (Category B)
34. Category B (established) - reserves of explored and prepared for development deposits (or their part), studied by seismic survey or other high-precision methods, and drilled by exploration, appraisal, detailed exploration, and advanced development wells, which have provided commercial oil or gas flows. The geological structure of the deposit, filtration-capacity properties of reservoir rocks, composition and properties of fluids, hydrodynamic characteristics, well productivity are sufficiently studied based on results of geological and field studies and testing of individual wells. The level of knowledge of the deposit parameters is sufficient for constructing reliable geological and filtration models of the deposit. Economic development of the deposit is confirmed by data from test production, well studies, and justified by the project technological documentation for development.
Category B includes reserves of deposit areas in the drainage zone of wells, where commercial flows have been obtained during testing and (or) trial production
