Flagpole (mast)
Flagpole (mast) - a means of securing a flag (usually in the form of a straight pole), installed vertically or at an angle to the horizontal plane. The flag is attached to the mast (flagpole) via a movable connection, that is, a structure consisting of ropes running over pulleys, allowing for raising and lowering the flag. When raising the flag on masts (flagpoles), the flag must be raised to the very top of the mast (flagpole)
