Contract for Sports Activities
A sports activity contract is concluded on the basis of Russian Federation labor legislation and represents a written agreement between an athlete, professional athlete (coach, specialist) and the head of a physical culture and sports organization, including a professional sports club and team. It must be accounted for by the relevant all-Russian federation if the athlete is part of the Russian Federation national team. A sports activity contract must include the athlete's obligations, his rights to social and medical insurance, terms of conclusion and termination of such a contract. A sports activity contract may also contain other conditions and obligations. The physical culture and sports organization ensures the athlete with conditions for preparation for sports competitions and participation in them, timely payment of wages, and performs other obligations provided for by the sports activity contract and not conflicting with Russian Federation legislation.
