1. The Presidential Grant Council of the Russian Federation for State Support of Young Russian Scientists and for State Support of Leading Scientific Schools of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Council) is a permanent advisory body established for the preliminary consideration of issues concerning the allocation of presidential grants of the Russian Federation for state support of young Russian scientists - candidates of science and doctors of science, as well as funds for state support of leading scientific schools of the Russian Federation, and the assignment of the President of the Russian Federation scholarship to young scientists and postgraduate students conducting prospective scientific research and developments in priority directions of modernization of the Russian economy, and preparing proposals on these issues

1. The Presidential Grant Council of the Russian Federation for supporting creative projects of national significance in the field of culture and arts (hereinafter referred to as the Council) is established under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated July 1, 1996, No. 1010 "On Measures for Strengthening State Support for Culture and Arts in the Russian Federation" and the Government Resolution of the Russian Federation dated September 9, 1996, No. 1061 "On Presidential Grants of the Russian Federation for Supporting Creative Projects of National Significance in the Field of Culture and Arts" (as amended by the Government Resolution of the Russian Federation dated May 4, 2005, No. 282)
