Vehicle seat belt
Seat-belt: an apparatus consisting of straps with a locking buckle, adjusting devices and attachment parts, which can be attached to the interior part of the body of a mechanical vehicle and is designed in such a way that in case of collision or sudden braking of the vehicle it reduces the risk of injury to the user by limiting the movement of his body. Such an apparatus is usually denoted in text by the term "seat-belt set"; this term also includes any device intended for energy absorption or retraction of the belt. The apparatus may be tested as a seat-belt or restraining system.
