Natural Monopoly
natural monopoly - a state of the goods market, in which satisfying demand on this market is more efficient in the absence of competition due to technological characteristics of production (as a result of significant reduction in production costs per unit of product as production volume increases), and goods produced by subjects of natural monopolies cannot be replaced in consumption by other goods, thereby making demand for goods produced by subjects of natural monopolies on this goods market less dependent on changes in the price of these goods than demand for other types of goods;
