Particle Board


Particleboard - a flat product of various length, width, and thickness manufactured by pressing or extrusion. Boards are usually made from wood chips or shavings obtained by mechanical processing of round timber materials or waste. They can also be produced from other fibrous materials such as particles derived from bagasse, bamboo stalks, cereal straw, or flax or hemp hurds. Particleboard is agglomerated by adding an organic binder, typically a thermosetting resin, which constitutes no more than 15% of the board's mass
