Verification of the electronic digital signature

Verification of an electronic digital signature is the process of determining the integrity, authenticity and authorship of an electronic document signed with an electronic digital signature, consisting in checking the relationship linking the hash function of the document, the signature under this document and the public key of the subscriber who signed the document. If the checked relationship, obtained using certified cryptographic information protection means, is found to be fulfilled, then the signature is considered correct, and the document itself - authentic; otherwise, the document is deemed invalid. Procedures for generating and verifying an electronic digital signature, as well as the hash function, correspond to the algorithms defined by GOST R34.10-94 and GOST R34.11-94
