Independence of the auditor's behavior


Behavioral independence refers to conduct that avoids facts and circumstances so significant that a reasonable and well-informed third party, possessing all necessary information including details about precautions taken, could reasonably conclude that the integrity, propriety or professional skepticism of the auditing organization or member of the audit team has been compromised
