Adaptation Disorders
Adjustment disorders - a state of internal discomfort and emotional disturbances arising during the adaptation period to a significant change in life or a stressful life event (serious physical illness, loss of loved ones, experiencing separation, etc.). It may manifest as a depressed mood, anxiety, worry, a feeling of inability to cope with the situation arisen, etc.
