Housing (Housing-Construction) Cooperative
1. A housing or housing and construction cooperative is a voluntary association of citizens, and in the cases provided for by this Code and other federal laws, legal entities based on membership, aimed at meeting the needs of citizens for housing, as well as the management of multi-apartment buildings.

2. Members of a housing cooperative use their own funds to participate in the purchase, reconstruction and subsequent maintenance of multi-apartment buildings. When reconstructing a multi-apartment building, the housing cooperative acts as a developer in accordance with urban planning legislation and ensures the reconstruction of this building on the land plot belonging to it in accordance with the construction permit issued to such cooperative.

3. Members of the housing and construction cooperative use their own funds to participate in the construction, reconstruction, and subsequent maintenance of a multi-apartment building. In accordance with legislation on urban planning activities, the housing and construction cooperative acts as the developer and ensures the construction and reconstruction of a multi-apartment building on the land plot belonging to it, in compliance with the construction permit issued to the cooperative.

4. Housing and housing and construction cooperatives (hereinafter also referred to as housing cooperatives) are consumer cooperatives.
