Chairman of the State Audit Office of the Russian Federation
Chairman of the Audit Chamber:
is responsible for managing the activities of the Audit Chamber and organizing its work in accordance with the Regulation of the Audit Chamber;
presents reports on the work of the Audit Chamber to the Federation Council and the State Duma together with the Deputy Chairman of the Audit Chamber;
represents the Audit Chamber in state authorities of the Russian Federation and abroad.
In performing the duties assigned to him, the Chairman of the Audit Chamber issues orders and directives, oversees the appointment and dismissal of staff members of the Audit Chamber's apparatus, and concludes business and other agreements.
The Chairman of the Audit Chamber has the right to participate in meetings of the Federation Council and the State Duma, their committees and commissions, the Government of the Russian Federation, and the Presidium of the Government of the Russian Federation
