Reserves of solid mineral resources Category C1
12. Category C1 reserves constitute the main part of the reserves of explored and developed deposits of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd complexity groups of geological structure, and may be identified on detailed survey areas of deposits of the 4th complexity group and must meet the following basic requirements:
1) the size and characteristic shapes of mineral bodies, main features of their occurrence conditions and internal structure have been determined, variability and possible discontinuity of mineral bodies have been assessed, and for stratified deposits and building and facing stone deposits, the presence of areas with low-amplitude tectonic disturbances has also been taken into account;
2) natural varieties and industrial (technological) types of the mineral have been defined, general patterns of their spatial distribution and quantitative relationships between industrial (technological) types and grades of the mineral have been established, as well as the mineral forms of occurrence of useful and harmful components; the quality of identified industrial (technological) types and grades has been characterized according to all parameters provided by the conditions;
3) the outline of the mineral reserves has been determined in accordance with the requirements of the conditions based on the results of drilling and mining works, taking into account data from geophysical and geochemical studies
