Seafarer's Passport
1. A seaman's passport is a document certifying the identity of its holder both outside the Russian Federation and within the territory of the Russian Federation.
2. A seaman's passport is issued to citizens of the Russian Federation working on Russian ships engaged in foreign voyages or dispatched by Russian shipowners for work on foreign ships, as well as to cadets (students) of educational institutions dispatched to ships, and employees of federal executive authorities and employees of enterprises, institutions, and organizations under the jurisdiction of these authorities.
