Judicial Summons under Civil Procedure
2. A judicial summons is one of the forms of court notifications and summonses. Parties to the case are notified by judicial summonses regarding the time and place of a court hearing or performance of specific procedural actions. Along with the notification in the form of a judicial summons or registered letter, copies of procedural documents are sent to the party involved in the case. Judicial summonses are also used for summoning witnesses, experts, specialists, and translators to court.
