Requisite "Participation in Electronic Transactions" BIC
The "UEP" (Participation in Electronic Payments) field reflects information on the participation of units of the Bank of Russia's settlement network, credit institutions (branches), clients who are not credit institutions, and structural units of the Bank of Russia in conducting electronic payments.

3.4.1. For units of the Bank of Russia's settlement network and structural units of the Bank of Russia, the "UEP" field may take the following values:

"0" - not a participant in electronic payments;

"1" - participant only in interregional electronic payments (participant in IEP);

"2" - participant only in intraregional electronic payments (participant in IEP);

"3" - participant in both interregional and intraregional electronic payments (participant in IEP and IEP);

"4" - participant of the MRR and VRR, a special participant of the real-time gross settlement system of the Bank of Russia, known as the Russian System of Bank Electronic Timed Payments (the BESP system);

"5" - an associated participant of the BESP settlement system and a participant of the VRR;

Upon exclusion of the GRKZ from the list of head participants of the MRR, the procedure for conducting inter-regional electronic settlements by it shall be established by the relevant regulatory acts of the Bank of Russia
