Essential Terms of the Insurance Contract


1. When concluding a property insurance contract between the insured and the insurer, an agreement must be reached:

1) on specific property or another insurable interest that is the subject of insurance;

2) on the nature of the event for which insurance is provided (insurance event);

3) on the amount of the insured sum;

4) on the term of the contract.

2. When concluding a personal insurance contract between the insured and the insurer, an agreement must be reached:

1) on the insured person;

2) on the nature of the event for which insurance is provided in the life of the insured person (insurance event);

3) on the amount of the insured sum;

4) on the term of the contract
