Transit-transfer points for convicted persons
7. Transit and transfer points may be established at correctional institutions and pre-trial detention centers for the temporary accommodation of convicts being transferred to the place of serving their sentence or being moved from one place of serving a sentence to another. Convicts accommodated in transit and transfer points are subject to the conditions of serving their sentence in the correctional institution determined by the court verdict, ruling, or judge's decision, and must comply with the requirements set out in the second part of this article. The maximum duration of accommodation of convicts in transit and transfer points shall not exceed 20 days. The procedure for establishing, operating, and liquidating transit and transfer points is determined by the federal executive body responsible for developing and implementing state policy and normative legal regulation in the area of serving criminal penalties.
