Disposal of waste on the continental shelf
disposal - any intentional removal of waste or other materials from ships and other floating vessels, aircraft, artificial islands, installations and structures, as well as any intentional destruction of ships and other floating vessels, aircraft, artificial islands, installations and structures; disposal does not include the removal of waste or other materials inherent in or resulting from the normal operation of ships, aircraft, artificial islands, installations and structures, except for waste or other materials transported by ships, aircraft, installations or structures operated for the purpose of removing such materials, or brought to such ships, aircraft, artificial islands, installations or structures, as well as those resulting from processing such waste or other materials on such ships, aircraft, artificial islands, installations and structures; placing materials for purposes other than their simple removal, when under the condition that this does not contradict the objectives of this Federal Law and international agreements of the Russian Federation
