498. Special clothing is means of individual protection used by employees performing harmful, dangerous and dirty types of work, as well as those working under special temperature conditions. These means are intended to protect the employee from injuries and exposure to harmful substances. Special clothing includes: work clothes (coats, overalls, jackets, trousers, thermal underwear, gloves), footwear (felt boots, boots, shoes, galoshes), headgear (helmets, gas masks, respirators, protective goggles, safety belts, etc.)
