Red Channel for the purposes of declaring goods
6. The "red" channel is intended for declaration by individuals of goods moved by them across the customs border of the Russian Federation that, in accordance with Russian legislation, must be declared in writing, as well as for the declaration at the individual's discretion of goods not required to be declared in writing.
Declaration in the "red" channel is carried out by filling out a customs declaration, the form of which is established for the written declaration of goods moved by individuals in accompanied baggage, unaccompanied baggage, and carry-on luggage when traveling across the state border of the Russian Federation, and submitting it to an official of the customs authority together with other documents and information necessary for customs purposes.
