Low-voltage equipment
2) low-voltage equipment - electrical equipment or its components, characterized by the features specified in Article 3 of this Federal Law;
1. The subject of technical regulation under this Federal Law is low-voltage equipment. Low-voltage equipment includes electrical equipment characterized by one of the following features:
1) the equipment operates at a nominal voltage value from 50 to 1500 volts direct current inclusive;
2) the equipment operates at a nominal voltage value from 50 to 1000 volts alternating current inclusive at a frequency of alternating current up to 1000 hertz inclusive;
3) the equipment operates at the nominal value of direct current voltage or at the nominal peak value of alternating current voltage up to 50 volts provided that, in the event of a fault in the equipment, the product of the voltage value when the electrical circuit is open and the measured value of electric current which would flow through the circuit with a possible fault exceeds 15 volt-amps;
4) the equipment belongs to chemical sources of electricity.
2. Low-voltage equipment also includes power supplies built into communication devices
