Emancipation

1. A minor who has reached sixteen years of age may be declared fully capable if they work under a labor contract, including a contract of employment, or engage in entrepreneurial activities with the consent of their parents, adopters, or guardian.

The declaration of a minor as fully capable (emancipation) is carried out by the guardianship and custody authority — with the consent of both parents, adopters, or guardian, or in the absence of such consent — by court decision.

2. Parents, adopters, and guardians are not liable for the obligations of an emancipated minor
