Stock Options for Employees
Stock options for employees represent options to purchase shares of a company granted to employees as a form of compensation. A stock option for employees is created on a specific date (the "grant date") and establishes that the employee may buy a specified number of shares in the employer's enterprise at a stipulated price (exercise price) either on a specified date (the "date of exercise right") or during a certain period of time (exercise period), beginning from the date of exercise right.
