1.6. Secure Electronic Control Tape (ECT) - a software-hardware module included in the cash register (ККМ), ensuring control of the cash register's operation through:
1) non-correctable (protected from correction) registration within it of information on all documents and shift closing reports issued by the cash register, carried out in a single cycle with their issuance;
2) formation of cryptographic verification codes for these documents and shift closing reports;
3) long-term storage of registered information for further identification, processing, and obtaining necessary data by tax authorities

Electronic protected control tape (EKLZ) - a technical device (a complex of software and hardware means as part of the cash register), ensuring protected registration against undetectable correction and non-volatile long-term storage of information about each transaction conducted with physical persons using the cash register, necessary for full income accounting purposes for correct tax calculation
