Order of the Commander (Chief)
40. An order is a form of conveying tasks by a commander (chief) to subordinates on specific issues. An order may be issued in writing or verbally. A written order is an administrative directive document issued by the staff chief on behalf of the commander of a military unit, or by the military governor – on behalf of the garrison commander.
