Selective Cutting


2. Selective cutting refers to logging operations during which part of trees and shrubs are cut down on the corresponding lands or land plots

Selective cutting is a method of main use logging, during which part of trees from the mature generation are cut down in one operation with even distribution across the area, as well as other trees for silvicultural reasons, calculated to allow for periodic repetition of the logging operation at regular intervals during which the previously cut stock of the forest stand is restored
