2.1. Typhoid fever and paratyphoid fevers A, B, and C are anthroponotic intestinal infections caused by bacteria Salmonella typhi and paratyphi A, B, and C. Characterized by ulcerative damage to the lymphatic system of the small intestine, bacteremia, fever, a cyclic clinical course with pronounced intoxication, roseolous rash on the torso skin, hepatosplenomegaly. Constipation is more characteristic than diarrhea.
