3. Manning of the Armed Forces with soldiers, sailors, sergeants, and non-commissioned officers represents a complex of interrelated activities conducted in the course of preparation and practical resolution of tasks related to examination, medical selection, professional psychological assessment, recruitment and distribution of citizens conscripted into military service and directed towards manning units (forces) (hereinafter, unless otherwise specified, referred to as "young recruits"), and citizens entering military service on a contract basis, organizing their training in accordance with military specialty classifications, addressing other issues during the performance of military service, and discharging them into reserve.

The system of equipping the Armed Forces is based on the principles of military personnel recruitment adopted in the state and methods of attracting citizens to military service.

Recruitment principle: - extraterritorial.

Recruitment methods: - conscription of citizens into military service and voluntary enlistment of citizens into military service under contract
