Check Requisites
1. A check must contain:
1) the designation "check" included in the document text;
2) an instruction to the payer to pay a specified monetary amount;
3) the name of the payer and indication of the account from which the payment must be made;
4) indication of the currency of the payment;
5) indication of the date and place of issuance of the check;
6) the signature of the person who issued the check - the drawer.
The absence in the document of any of the specified requisites renders it invalid as a check.
A check that does not contain an indication of its place of issuance is considered to have been signed at the location of the drawer.
