1. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia) is a federal executive authority responsible for:
performing functions related to developing state policy and normative legal regulation in the areas of industry and defense industry complex, energy conservation and improving energy efficiency during goods circulation, as well as in the field of development of aviation technology and experimental aviation, technical regulation and ensuring uniformity of measurements, science and technology in the interests of national defense and security, foreign and domestic trade, public
food services and household maintenance, folk art handicrafts;

functions related to the provision of state services, management of state property in the fields of machine building, metallurgical, chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical, light industry, forestry, pulp and paper, wood processing, electronic, aviation and shipbuilding industries, telecommunications industry, radio engineering industry, ammunition and special chemicals industry, chemical disarmament,
industry of conventional arms, folk art crafts;

functions related to supporting the export of industrial products, ensuring access to markets for goods and services, exhibition and fair activities, conducting investigations preceding the introduction of special protective, anti-dumping or compensatory measures on imports, as well as compensatory measures provided by the Agreement on Uniform Rules for the Granting of Industrial Subsidies dated December 9, 2010, application of non-tariff regulation measures, and functions
the authorized federal executive authority responsible for state regulation of foreign trade activities, except for issues related to customs-tariff regulation and matters concerning Russia's accession to the World Trade Organization;

functions of the federal authority for technical regulation.

production, stockpiling, and use of chemical weapons and their elimination, and the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and Their Elimination
