Legal Risk of a Credit Institution
Legal risk - the risk of losses arising for the credit institution as a result of:
non-compliance by the credit institution with requirements of regulatory legal acts and concluded contracts;
legal errors made during the conduct of activities (incorrect legal advice or incorrect preparation of documents, including when considering disputed issues in judicial bodies);
imperfections in the legal system (contradictions in legislation, absence of legal norms regulating certain issues arising in the course of the credit institution's operations);
violation by counterparties of regulatory legal acts, as well as conditions of concluded contracts
