Volume of environmental consumption
The volume of environmental medium consumption refers to the quantity of an environmental object (air, water, food), coming into contact with organs, tissues, and systems of the body over a specific period of time. For example, in the case of inhalation exposure, this is the volume of air passing through the lungs (cubic meters per day), in the case of water and dietary intake - the volume of consumed water (liters per day), etc.
