Basic Principles of Health Protection
The basic principles of health protection are:
1) observance of citizens' rights in the field of health protection and ensuring state guarantees related to these rights;
2) priority of patients' interests when providing medical care;
3) priority of children's health protection;
4) social protection of citizens in case of loss of health;
5) liability of state authorities, local self-government bodies and officials of organizations for ensuring citizens' rights in the field of health protection;
6) accessibility and quality of medical care;
7) prohibition of refusal to provide medical care;
8) priority of prevention in the field of health protection;
9) observance of medical confidentiality
